Statue of Liberty Homeschool Field Trip

HOTV teens/tweens are headed to Jersey City to visit Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty and we invite you to join us! We are planning to meet at Liberty State Park Security Facility and depart as a group to Ellis Island and then to Liberty Island. The park address is at 1 Audrey Zapp Dr, Jersey City, NJ 07305. We plan to spend time on both islands and have lunch together. Parents are expected to provide their own transportation and meet us at Liberty State Park, unless other arrangements are made with another family. Please be sure to review the links provided and reserve your tickets for the ferry and Statue if you plan to enter it. There are security measure in place for the Ferry and Pedestal so please review them carefully. We will have a meeting to discuss details and coordinate further. Everyone MUST buy 1 General Admission Ferry ticket per person (link is below). This will give you access to both Islands and the museums on each. Please RSVP to the event here to let us know you are joining. Be sure to add your name and email address so that we can communicate beforehand and plan for the day of.

Ferry Ticket: Please select the 10:00am slot. This is not the the Ferry departure time, but the time to report to the Security Facility. Ferry tickets are $24.50 for adults and $12 for children. Click below for more information and to purchase.

Statue of Liberty Pedestal access ticket: Please select the 2:00pm slot as this is the time we expect to be at Liberty Island. This ticket allows you entry in the Statue but not the Crown.  If you do not wish to enter the Statue at all, then do not buy this ticket.  Tickets are $24.80 for adults and $12.30 for children.
